Telephone bookings are only confirmed when guaranteed with full credit card details, or in writing with a non-refundable £50, per room, deposit.
Full details of your booking should then be in writing, (email, fax, or post) to which we will confirm in writing.
As a small independent hotel, cancellations or non-arrivals affect us significantly.
Our cancellation policy is 12 noon the day before arrival, for cancellations made after this time the first nights stay will be charged in full. All cancellations must be put in writing to the hotel.
The hotel reserves the right to charge the nominated credit/debit card, provided at the time of booking, for cancellations made in breach of the hotels policy without any additional consent being required.
We recommend you discuss dinner arrangements and reservations when booking accommodation (then again to be reconfirmed upon arrival). We often use our restaurant for wedding receptions and functions. Meals will then be served "Room Service" or in the bar.
We accept dogs in limited rooms. A £10 charge for extra cleaning will apply.
Weddings, Functions and Conferences
Persons booking an event are reminded that a contract exists between the Booker and the Hotel.
The Hotel will guarantee your booking upon receipt of a confirmation letter and £200 non-refundable deposit.
The Hotel requests that the final numbers for catering purposes are confirmed one week prior to the function and will charge for that number accordingly.
£200 deposit on confirmation. A further 40% 6 weeks prior to arrival and the balance on the day.

Block booking of accommodation (where required) is reserved based on the expected numbers given at the time of booking. If the final numbers vary within 3 weeks of the function, the Hotel reserves the right to charge for the accommodation as originally booked.
